The most important thing to get a high marks in summary writing is to write with your own sentences without changing the original meaning. However, there other things you need to consider:

1. Really understand the question's need. Eg. Write a summary on road safety campaign, you need to focus on the road safety campaign only and not the examples given.

2. Left out unnecessary examples given or group the examples into category. Eg fork, spoon = cutlery 

3. Use connectors to enhance or to connect sentences.

4. Usually the main point in in each paragraph

4. Do not exceed the maximum requirement
